In this session, we will engage in a discussion with expert endoscopists on the management of colorectal neoplasia in challenging situations. These include instances where lesions are located at the ileocecal valve, anorectal junction, or appendiceal orifice, as well as cases involving locally recurrent lesions and lesions with severe submucosal fibrosis.

In this session, we will look at the impact of advances in artificial intelligence (AI) on intestinal research. We plan to discuss whether the application of AI when performing colonoscopy in patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) can actually help improve the diagnosis and treatment of IBD. We will also present various changes and expected effects resulting from the expansion of clinical and research applications of AI assisted colonoscopy. Lastly, we will introduce and discuss the application of natural language processing (NLP) and expansion of research areas for GI researchers. We hope that through this session, many researchers will be able to cover and apply AI applications in more depth.
